Tamar Herzig

is a Senior Lecturer in Early Modern European History at Tel Aviv University, Israel. She is the author of Savonarola’s Women: Visions and Reform in Renaissance Italy (University of Chicago Press, 2008; Italian edition forthcoming by Carocci Editore) and of The Italian Renaissance [in Hebrew] (Open University of Israel Press, 2011), and co-editor of Knowledge and Religion in Early Modern Europe: Studies in Honor of Michael Heyd (Brill, 2013).
